Laminated Safety Glass is a type of safety glass consisting of two or more panes of glass bonded together with one or more polymeric interlayers. Through a manufacturing process involving preheating, pre-pressing (or vacuum bagging), and high-temperature, high-pressure autoclaving, the glass panes and interlayers are permanently fused into a single, integral unit. The most commonly used interlayer materials include PVB (Polyvinyl Butyral), SGP (SentryGlas® Plus), EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate), and PU (Polyurethane).
In addition to standard laminated glass, a wide range of specialty laminated glass products is available to meet diverse architectural and functional requirements.
